The InCommN Mission: Build mutually assured success through collaborations among emerging small businesses, community based enterprise, and entrepreneurs, and between these entities & people and their communities. We envision businesses and their collaborations purposefully including community benefits among their business goals and practices, and we envision communities supporting and sustaining their local businesses. 


The Scibelli Enterprise Center, is home to the Springfield Incubator. The  incubator’s mission is  to guide, educate, and support startup businesses.  The SEC opened on October 5, 1999 in a completely renovated historic building in the STCC Technology Park.  The Scibelli Enterprise Center is a 39,000 square foot facility which offers tenant suites with customized leases at affordable rates, including shared services, space prepared for phone and Internet service, and pro bono consulting services.


The Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation (HGCF) supports the Entrepreneurship Initiative (EI) to foster entrepreneurship education among participating colleges and universities in the region.
Many students have a true entrepreneurial spirit. The EI informs, supports, and inspires student entrepreneurs. Equally important, it recognizes and awards students for their entrepreneurial spirit and exemplary business plans.</span
The EI is funded through the HGCF and is championed by a committee of faculty advisors from 12 participating area colleges
